General Terms

The Returns Policy of www.papertrees.co.uk is set out below. This policy is no more than a practical implementation of the Returns Terms and Conditions within which www.papertrees.co.uk operates with major distributors and manufacturers. As such, the policy is intended as a reasonable responsibility to be placed upon the buyer.

Within this Returns Policy www.papertrees.co.uk has supplementary Returns Terms for a number of specialised product groups. These groups are indicated in the catalogue. In the event of any conflict between this Returns Policy and the supplementary terms then the provisions for the relevant specialised product group shall prevail.

 

Returns Policy

www.papertrees.co.uk can accept goods for return only if the following terms of the Returns Policy are complied with in order to allow theofficeshop a valid remedy against the relevant manufacturer or distributor:

- Items to be returned must be in original inner and outer packaging, which should not have been written upon, taped or had permanent labels attached

- Items to be returned must be in a satisfactory and re-sellable condition

 

Supplementary terms for specialised Product Groups

- Electronic machines – some (most) machines (including calculators) are non-returnable to the manufacturer and cannot be accepted for return

- Electrical items which have been removed from their packaging cannot be accepted for return

- Food products cannot be accepted for return

- Bespoke or “Specials” items cannot be accepted for return

- “Dated” products can be accepted for return only until 5th December of the year previous to the year to which the dated products relate
- Computer consumables – can only be accepted for return if the outer seal has not been tampered with in any way.

 

Returns Procedure

Notification of a request for a return must be made to www.papertrees.co.uk – by fax or e-mail – within the time limits set out below for each specific reason which has given rise to the need to return:

- when an order has been delivered, but the order has been short of an item or items – within one working day.

- when an incorrect item has been delivered – within three working days

- when an item is no longer requiredwithin ten working days>

- when an item is faultywithin ten working days.
